Job description
Splash and Dash Groomerie & Boutique is a national franchise with over 36 locations throughout the USA and is currently in the process of opening additional locations in your area! We are an Inc. 500 company that provides a unique and upscale experience for our customers. We are a full-service Groomerie and Boutique that also offers retail, grooming, and membership-based grooming services.
We are looking for a few talented Pet Groomers to join our team. Applicants must be able to perform in a fast-paced and detailed environment. Preference is given to groomers with at least one or more years of experience, but we will consider all applicants who are dependable, detail-oriented, and energetic.

Two or more years of salon experience is preferred, but we will consider all experienced applicants who are dependable, detail-oriented, and energetic. Must be able to perform in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Ability to perform all tasks mentioned above.
Fully understands and can complete all Pet Bathers’ duties to company standards. Must have scissoring skills and knowledge of all breed cuts, detailed oriented, able to handle seniors, puppies and everything in between with patience and love.

Hair Cuts for Dogs
A Pet Stylist can correctly identify breeds, coat types, tools, uses, and techniques, perform all grooming procedures, and finish work regardless of length to company standards and productivity for the following styles.
Body – Can adjust to and accommodate client requests
• Bladed body stylized leg
• Body contour trim
• Hand scissors and misc. trims
Head – Can adjust to and accommodate client requests
• Roundhead.
• Rectangular head
Ears – Can adjust to and accommodate client requests.
• Beveled ear
• Tasseled ear
• Combo ear
Feet – Can adjust to and accommodate client requests.
• Beveled foot
• Rounded foot
• Bladed foot
Tail – Can adjust to and accommodate client requests.
• Plume tail
• Carrot tail
• Pom-Pom tail
Cleaning:
You will be required to correctly complete your daily, weekly, and monthly equipment cleaning and salon cleaning duties. You may be required to accept additional duties as needed.
Work Environment:
The majority of job duties are conducted indoors in the grooming salon. Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 75 pounds), and standing for long periods of time. A large amount of this partner’s time will be spent in direct contact with our guests’ dogs, and the remaining time will be with the other salon and store partners. The work environment can be noisy and wet. Improper use of safety equipment and/or not following proper lifting techniques may pose of risk of injury to customers, pets, and store personnel. Follow all safety precautions and procedures.
